We celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. It’s an event that changed history. Yet, in our own lives we can get so busy that the weight of the moment can get lost in buying candy and preparing menus and big meals for family get togethers. This is your invitation to slow down.
For thousands of years the Church has purposefully used the difficult events from the the Trial of Jesus to his burial after the crucifixion as preparation for the awesomeness of “Jesus is alive!” Easter morning. This year Water City Church has opened the door to folks from our community to create art that will help walk us through the 14 Stations of the Cross.
This contemplative gallery showing is open to the public.
