Children
It's simple... Kids matter. Water City Church is honored to partner with families in helping the next generation FIND and FOLLOW Jesus.
We are proud to offer a safe, clean space for the Water City infants, toddlers, preschoolers & elementary students.
Whether your little one(s) goes for the play kitchen or wants to build the biggest tower ever, they're sure to have a good time. But it's more than just play.
Water City Church believes in healthy spiritual development, even for our littlest ones. Through the use of songs, Bible stories, projects and even creative snacks, we are intentionally telling each child that they are loved by God, and that he wants to be their friend forever.
Nursery
infant & toddler
The nursery is open for your little one (infant to toddler) beginning 15 minutes before the service begins. We know what it's like to have little littles and recognize that not everyone is ready to hand off for the service, so you're all more than welcome to try the service together in the big room. If anyone gets squirrelly, we do have a live feed of the service downstairs in the overflow area as well as in the nursery. Please make use of either of these spaces if you desire.
Church with really little ones is not easy. But we really believe it's such an important rhythm of life to establish as soon as possible. We're here for your family.
Preschool
Preschoolers are awesome! Full of energy and questions and movement. Church should be a place where they can be themselves.
Preschoolers are invited to stay with the adults through the worship time and then all head out to begin their class together. New or not sure about joining the other preschoolers? They're welcome to stay with the adults through as much of the service as they're able and then there's a live stream of the service in the overflow downstairs and dropping in the preschool class already in progress is totally allowed 🙂
Class time includes a bible story, creative activities, play and a snack.
Many at Water City have or have had small children, we get what it means to bring the family to church together. It's super important in a culture where it's less and less the norm... and it's not easy.
Elementary
1st - 4th grades
Elementary students are invited to stay in the main service through the worship time (15'ish minutes) and then are dismissed to their class downstairs.
Time together with friends includes a Bible story, time to share about the week, a creative activity and a snack.
Newer to the church and not quite sure about going to Kids Church? We get it, seriously. Kids are welcome to stay with the adults as long as they are able and they can always join the class later. Honestly, your kids will let you know when they are ready to join their friends and maybe make a few new ones downstairs.
